Phantom Theater Encore! - Kings Island

Being a member of the original cast for this show was such an honor. The Phantom Theater was a dark ride at Kings Island in the 90's and a fan favorite before it ultimately closed in 2002. For the park's 50th anniversary season, they decided to bring back this ride in a new medium. They brought the characters to life in live theater. Through singing, spinning and tap dancing, these ghoulish thespians had another chance to appear in the park and entrance a whole new generation with their talents.

We had many unique experiences with this show including meeting the original creator of the ride and being airbrushed blue everyday. However, the best part about this show was the impact it had on people who cherished the ride in their youth. Our final performance is a show I will never forget. A packed audience in an 800-seat theater full of the rides biggest fans. The applause at the beginning and end of every number made me feel like I was a rock star. To have that much energy directed at my cast mates and me was an incredible and humbling experience. I was so thankful to be a part of such a unique show which was able to fulfill so many people's wishes and entertain and inspire kids today.
