Grand Carnivale - Kings Island

Yay! It's the summer of 2021 and live performances are a thing once again! I was given the opportunity to perform as a dancer in the Grand Carnivale at Kings Island. Each day I performed in the opening showcase, in the parade and in Kiss Goodnight. In addition, I walked around the park as an ambience character where I talked to kids and saw their faces light up at the opportunity to take a picture with me. I loved getting to make kids and adults alike smile everyday.

After such a long time of the performing arts community not being allowed to gather due to pandemic guidelines, it was great to be surrounded by my fellow performers once again. I met some amazing people on this contract. We survived that July heat together! It felt great to perform and be surrounded by my people once again.
